SIOG 2009 Awards
The 2009 Paul Calabresi Award was attributed to Harvey J. Cohen, MD, Duke University School of Medicine. This prize recognizes an individual who has significantly contributed to the advancement of geriatric oncology.
The 2009 BJ Kennedy Award for the Best Poster was attributed to Saskia A.M. van de Schans – Comprehensive Cancer Centre South/Cancer Registry Eindhoven, Netherlands – for her poster entitled “Treatment and survival of aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma patients aged 75 or older: a national population-based study”.
